Abigail McFee is a poet, editor, and Nebraska transplant.

McFee holds an MFA in poetry from the University of Michigan, where she was the recipient of Hopwood Awards in poetry and nonfiction and the Theodore Roethke Prize. She is the winner of The Cincinnati Review's Robert and Adele Schiff Award in poetry and a finalist for Milkweed Editions’ 2023 Ballard Spahr Prize. She is currently at work on her first collection of poems, Teneral, which examines scales of harm in intimacy and the natural world.

McFee is a former poetry reader for Michigan Quarterly Review and editor of Issue 11 of MQR Mixtape, which took “pleasure” as its theme. She works as a writer at the University of Michigan.
